For students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics computer workstations are available at various locations. To gain access to the relevant room, please contact the respective contact person.
Registration
The registration for the use of the pools of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics is done on the PC via the portal login.uni-hannover.de The account name must be entered in small letters, e.g. xsh-hjp.
You can access the computer of the pool from the home PC with Secure Shell (ssh) while you are logged in the VPN of the university. SSH clients are present in every Linux distribution, for Windows computers you will find a list on the pages of the LUIS.

If you want to work on the computers, you should acquire basic knowledge of Unix. The Leibniz Universität IT-Systeme (LUIS) regularly offers Unix and Linux courses.
